Service Description

Re-branded this term as Drama Club we endeavour to reach a greater range of skillsets and development to allow our young learners to explore the Arts. These sessions include poetry, developing conversation skills, reading, teamwork, pronunciation, diction, acting, script work, physical acting and more. Sessions will move through different schemes of work depending on each terms theme, as well as a number of games to improve focus, improvisation, creativity and imagination. As the pupil progresses we begin to establish the modules that most engage learners by focusing on more advanced acting including verse, prose, monologues and duologues. This will enable students to decide whether they want to pursue LAMDA examinations and which areas they would like to be their focus solo work, duets, musical theatre, mime and prose. This course is excellent for developing confidence and supports public speaking.
