About the Role

We are seeking a piano teacher to help us deliver piano lesson in and around the Brentwood area. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching piano and achieving good results across a range of exam boards including ABRSM, LCME, Trinity, etc.

You will need a suitable space to teach the piano, as students will come to you to receive their lessons. You will also need the ability to use google calendar in order to manage your availability each week - training in our systems will be given at an induction for the chosen candidate.

Our website will collect all student details, payment and organise your sessions each week. We will also provide a reporting system to parents, arrange examinations when students are ready and publicise your availability.

There will be further opportunities for work as the school continues to grow - including group sessions and summer workshops.

Requirements

We are seeking a piano teacher and the ideal candidate will have:


  • Experience teaching piano and achieving good results across a range of exam boards including ABRSM, LCME, Trinity, etc.


  • You will need a suitable space to teach the piano, as students will come to you to receive their lessons.


  • You will also need the ability to use google calendar in order to manage your availability each week - training in our systems will be given at an induction for the chosen candidate.


  • A full DBS will be required, right to work in the UK and the ideal candidate with have teaching qualifications. The application to apply goes through requirements in more details.


About the Company

We now operate in 4 schools in the Brentwood and London area - teaching approx. 300 pupils. The school is going from strength to strength, looking to expand into more primary schools over the coming terms. We have also been awarded Arts Award Centre status, which will allow us to offer day courses in the Discover Award to primary schools and we will also be running a Summer School from 2025, so there will be plenty of opportunities for you to grow with the school and find your own niche within our community.
